Times Change

On the whole, this is a show which centres on community and enjoyment, the team coming together to collaborate on a project for the sheer joy of it. It's always nice to see actors of any calibre truly having fun when performing and this was clear to see here.

All The Dead Men

Unfortunately there are some moments within the play where one is inclined to argue that the translation needs a little more work. It's a pity that the script itself falters at times, as I can't help but wonder how the play may have been different with some structural edits.

Handbagged

On the whole this is a strong performance, which carries a politically dividing topic with a lightness and humour that hopefully allows those who are do not agree with the slant to nevertheless enjoy themselves. It is a unique and very effective idea and a great night at the theatre.

My Story is You

Ultimately this is a story about family and legacy, dissecting what can tear a family apart and what can reunite them. What could potentially be a hard hitting ride through the challenges of creating a home in a new country becomes an entertaining romp through unusual customer service encounters.

Enter Macbeth

Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's most performed plays. So a question must be asked about how this one is different. In the case of Out of Chaos' performance the answer is a two hander. This entire performance is a wonderful lesson in characterisation, acting as a masterclass in creating character.

Shadows

Shadows is a new performance by Cassa Pancho's Ballet Black, or more accurately two performances. Lasting around 45 minutes each, these two performances tell vastly different stories. Both are beautiful in their own right and a testament to the skill of the performers and choreographer Chanel DaSilva.
